Court Rejects Ramalan Yero’s

Application For Return Of

International Passport

A Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna, managed by Justice Z.B

Abubakar has dismissed an application recorded by previous

Governor of Kaduna State, Ramalan Yero, looking for an arrival of

his International Passport.

Igbere TV reviews that the Economic and Financial Crimes

Commission (EFCC) had held onto Yero’s identification over the

span of its examinations concerning the previous representative’s

dealings.

The ex-senator, in a previous application made through his

direction, Yunus Ustaz, encouraged the court to discharge his

International Passport which will lapse by September, 2020.

Advice to the EFCC, J. An Ojobane, in his contention, asked the

court not to consider the application saying that there was no

defense for giving the supplications of the litigant.

He helped the court the accommodation to remember the

Passport being referred to was a piece of the conditions

whereupon bail was conceded the litigant.

Yero had on the June, 22, 2020 through his direction, Ustaz

Yunus, applied that the court award his application for the arrival

of his International Passport for reestablishment as it will before

long lapse.

It would be reviewed that the litigant was re-charged on

November 28, 2018 after his contribution in the previous Minister

of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison Madueke’s pay off and

illegal tax avoidance adventure.
