Why We Are Yet To Pay 12,000 N-Power

The Federal Government on Monday in Abuja conceded that around 12,000 N-Power recipients are yet to be paid their three-month payments.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq affirmed this at the media instructions of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

“We have had issues around moving from the stage that we used to work to the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) stage. “In this way, these are the authoritative issues that have prevented the installment of a portion of the volunteers.”
“There are around 12,000 of them dependent on our record and as I am talking with you, the lasting secretary of the service is in the workplace of the bookkeeper general to sift through these issues and once we get the report, we will make it accessible to all.”
