Two Die, Eleven Injured In Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Auto Crash
The Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) in Ogun, says two people passed on while 11 others supported wounds in a different mishap on Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, on Monday.
The Public Relations Officer of TRACE, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ota, Ogun, that four vehicles were engaged with the mishap that occurred at about 9.50 a.m. at Isara Bridge pivot of the interstate.
Akinbiyi said that 23 people were associated with the various mishap that prompted the passing of two, while 11 others supported wounds.
He said that an onlooker told the salvage work force that the mishap happened after a Man Diesel truck going to Ibadan from Lagos, drove wildly.
The authority said that the onlooker asserted that the Man Diesel was unfairly attempting to surpass two other Man Diesel vehicles and a business transport originating from Niger State to Lagos.
“Cadaver of the people in question, which happened to be in the business transport, have been stored at the FOS funeral home, Ipara Remo, Ogun, while the survivors are likewise getting treatment at Victory Hospital, Ogere Remo and Idera Hospital, Ogun,” he said.
Akinbiyi said the vehicles had been towed to Police Station, Remo, Ogun, to guarantee free progression of traffic in the region.
