After a Nigerian man distinguished as Ibukun Mike uncovered a few authorities of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) checking the cash they coerced from him and other four street clients, the office has responded. Describing how the dishonorable occurrence happened, Ibukun Mike said it occurred on May 15, 2020.

He recognized that he and other street clients were liable of taking “one way” yet he clarified that they did so in light of the fact that there was a detour out and about they should pass. As per Mike, a LASTMA official from the “Masamasa” (Maza-Maza) LASTMA office halted them and took them to his office where he purportedly gathered 50,000 Naira in real money from every one of them without giving them receipts.

In a video shared by Mike, a lady is seen checking the cash supposedly coerced from those captured. Mike guarantees the official who did the blackmail left the workplace and asked his partners found in the video to tally the cash. Responding to the video, LASTMA said they are doing an examination. They tweeted: “Our consideration has been attracted to the ongoing video making adjusts about blackmail from our officials.
