Edo 2020: APC Releases Guidelines For Primary
The Secretary of the Edo State Governorship Primary Election Committee, Senator Ajibola Basiru, in an announcement on Sunday, said the activity will begin by 8 am on Monday.
He said the procedure of the political race would initiate at 8.00 am on Monday at the different wards in all the neighborhood government zones.
Basiru said the activity would be in severe consistence with the Edo State’s surviving law restricting social event of in excess of 20 people.
The announcement read, “Not in excess of 18 people including the Presiding Officers and Independent National Electoral Commission spectators will be at ward casting a ballot place anytime.
There will be concurrent accreditation and casting a ballot in groups as aforementioned until every qualified part have made their choice without infringement of the state’s Covid-19 guidelines.
Not in excess of 18 people will be in participation for the declaration of results at all ward habitats and assemblage of results at all levels including the state gathering.
“All individuals from the gathering and individuals from the general population are charged to be tranquil and agree completely with the state’s Covid-19 guidelines.”
